ABSA AFRICA
Hendri Lombard was awarded the Absa Africa job, the storyboard would take us from Jhb, to Capetown to Hendi’s home turf of Tanzania,
Armed with the lovely Liz the Artbuyer and the JHB crew, we met Hendri at the airport to head off to CT to meet the rest of the crew, to start in a beautiful farm area of Durbanville in the Cape. Which was the only place that had wheat in crop during our shoot schedule.
Blessed with beautiful weather and a very excited cast, two days of shooting and a night out in Long Street, we all headed back to JHB for the city shots and studio, lots of plates of skies and buildings, permission to get into a server room, very action hero stuff!
While the shots all went into post and the job was in recon. The team headed for Tanzania a commercial flight, two charters and hours on the road. We finally got the tower and our beautiful Maasai. Sadly that shot never flighted, but its worth putting in just for the story, and was a end of a beautiful shoot!
